Introducing Photographer of the Week #203, Marcelo Gabriel Yáñez.
“These are images are from a project titled Entre Nous which I’ve tried to work on as one continuous and mostly chronological sequence over the past four years — they are taken out of that order in this case. The project has thus far been about a type of searching and journey — spiritual, physical, sexual, and emotional — in an attempt to find connection to the human body, earth, dirt, and myself. I’ve thought about it closely in relation to the fool’s journey in the major arcana of the tarot, and I don’t reject the work being called diaristic.”
