Internships
Capricious welcomes applications for internships throughout the year.
Be a part of the Capricious team and work first-hand with the production of magazines and books, as well as our roving curatorial projects. The internship will also involve maintaining and building relationships with bookstores and museums alike, and can include general office organization and archiving.
Applicants must have a background in art and/or photography and willingness to do entry-level intern work, while being provided with unique exposure to the inner-workings of a magazine. Ideal candidates are trustworthy recent grads with positive energy, keen organizational skills, and attention to detail. Proficiency with Mac applications and Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign & Photoshop) and all social media outlets is desirable.
Internships come with a small monthly stipend and in some situations school credit may be arranged. Interns should be able to commit 2 days per week, approximately 11am-5pm. To be considered for an internship, please submit a résumé and cover letter to Anika Sabin via anika@becapricious.com.
